私の誕生日は最低でした。思ったとおりよくことがあまりない、うれしくないことばっかりあったんだ。それはね。。。一人だったし、あまり何ももれなかったし、バースデイケーキもあまりおいしくなかったんだ。
怒ってるんだ。どうして？
最低な日でした。何も楽しんでいることをしなかった。

=.= I'm so bad at updating this.. end up never writing anything for a long time.
Anyways, updates... well the last time I made a post I was waiting for the JET program reply -_- didn't make it. Was really hoping to get it too, but oh well, I'm use to this kind of stuff, so never expect things to go well.
I'll just apply for somthing else, need something for after I graduate, (which will be this June) >.<
T_T sure going to miss this place when I finish with school.
well I think that's about it, besides the fact I'm trying to convince my mom about me going to California again for Anime Expo. It was such a fun experience, and would like to go again, plus~~~~ I've heard that Hyde (lead vocalist of the J-rock band L`Arc-en-ciel (did the Full metal alchemist theme, Rurouni Kenshin theme) will be performing at the House of Blues in Anaheim that weekend of the convention ! >.

Not too much to update on since things are going pretty fine. Still waiting for the reply of the JET Program. Tutoring has become alot easier so that's really cool. They changed the set up and it's really good for me because i'm able to get alot of school work done in that time as well as help others ^_^
>.< Can't wait untill spring vacation though...going to be so cool. So many things I want to do when I go back to Germany.

Well, on Thursday it snowed here. It was interesting that it did, since last year it really didn't snow and for this year it to snow so early. I ended up not having to work either because the school had closed ^^v
Other then that things are good. Have been a little busy with school work...but then that's university for you =P

Well, today was a good day, heh things have been going pretty good, I have to say. When got back to the dorm couldn't connect for IRC, thought wouldn't be able to get fansubbed anime but today it was working ^_^ (hana yori dango ^^) Also thought I had to do presentation today in class, but seemed like mine won't be untill little while later, so that was cool too. =)
Well, still deciding about what my mom said..haven't figured out a place though thinking I might condider this one thing..but got to look into it more
well, that's it for now, untill later

Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving holiday =).
I sent out the application on Friday and got alot of stuff done so that was good. ^_^ and officially I will be going to Germany in April, alright have ticket bought. ;)
heh on top of that my mom is askig me is there anywhere i'd like to go for my graduation, as in a trip, family or by myself .. so, i will have to think about that.
in other words, things are going well. untill next time
and yay, he should be back around Monday..or was the indication I got from his friend ;)

皆さんはのう脳卒中のことを知っていますか？ひょっとして脳卒中を受ける人を知りますか。脳卒中は危険な病気です。受ける人は突然頭の中で血管が破裂します。脳卒中になった被害者が残念なことに死ぬか話したり動いたりできなくなります。脳卒中は本当に大変です。被害者は普通年を取った人です。脳卒中を直す薬がないので被害者にとってとっても困ることです。
2005年10月17月であさひ新聞に「脳卒中のリハビリにロボットスーツ０８年商品化へ」と言う記事がありました。松下電器産業の子会社「アクティブリンク」と大阪大学はリハビリロボットスーツの原型をかんせいさせました。このスーツは体が動けない人を動けるようになるためのスーツです。メッシュのジャケットの「着るロボット」で腕の部分に筋肉の動きをとらえる四つのセンサーがあります。スーツのセンサーが察知して、まひのある腕も同じように動かすことができます。この繰り返す運動で回復することができます。ロボットスーツの開発が進めて2008年に商品化して売ると思われます。ロボットスーツは日本だけで買えます。９０万人がスーツを買いたいを思われます。
私はロボットスーツは本当にすばらしい物と思います。いままでロボットスーツを着てリハビリをすることがないので脳卒中になった患者にとって生活はたぶんとっても大変と思います。長い間体の一部が動けない患者がロボットスーツのリハビリの後でまひのある側が動けることは患者にとって奇跡だと思います。しかし一つのことが気に入りません。それはロボットスーツは日本だけで売ることです。なぜと言うのは脳卒中は日本だけの病気じゃなくて他の国も脳卒中患者がいます。他の国の脳卒中患者にとってそのことはひどいと思います。けど後で他の国でも売るなら大丈夫と思います。
質問：
ロボットスーツのことどう思いますか？ロボットスーツは日本だけで売ることはどう思いますか？なぜそう思いますか？最後に皆さんはロボットスーツはいくらぐらいかかると思いますか？

Getting more use to the whole tutoring thing. I usually see a few of the same students each time I come and then maybe 1 or 2 that I haven't. Today the main thing that I helped with was a math story problem involving cubes. Also some multiplication problems, English, and bible study work.
Other then that, was just a normal day, got back little late, but don't have much to do today so that's okay.

My mom came to visit today..she had my niece with her (which she failed to inform me that she was bringing) but anyways, we met at Uwajimaya and did some shopping and then had lunch and Shilla.

^____^ I have Naruto's pajama hat now~ it's so cute. Was surprised they had it this time, always it was the other ones. Now I just have to get the shuriken pack one.

Been kind of more tired earlier recently...maybe it's because of starting the job, and seem to focus less on stuff. @_@ Then again, after the bus ride, feel woozy for the rest of the day, it seems (so bumpy -.-)
As for the tutoring, it was ok. But there was many down times, where I was just sitting alone waiting for Brother Jack to send in another student. I'm Sister Nicole, by the way =P
Much of the work the kids had today was with reading, so did reading and summarization work. One had a math problem (>.< math) but we did it together, and another had a Bible study homework and writing assignment. Before I left today, I bought some candies and put them in one of my containers and brought with me. I let each student take a candy of their choice after they were finished.
Though I don't like the 40 or so min bus ride, so far the tutoring isn't too bad. Not hard, and time seems to go by pretty fast, as well as the assingments.
So, well, my mom is supposed to be comming up this weekend. We will go to Uwajimaya together, go shopping and have lunch there (and of course Hanah will be comming =P) Me and my mom prob have to close etrade accoutn cause they been taking 40$ out of it, and find a different money stuff for me, maybe a diff bank account or something like that.
Read in the UW news paper that they found a dead body on campus, and near around where our dorm is ><, not the kind of news you want to read. They said it wasn't a student though, and was no signs of trauma, so makes it less stressful for students knowing it wasn't some crazy stuff.
Well, guess that's about it. Good thing they have journals like these, where we can "talk all about ourself and the things happening around ourself" and not bombard others others with it, or just talk abou t ourself to them without giving them any room.(Which can sometimes create distance, detachment, or disintrest) With this, they have the freedom to look here at the things that happen if they want to know, while personally I might tell them a few things, but not the main focus, so both can feel comfortable and have more fun. =)

Well, had first day of tutoring today. Have to say my day was busy. I left at 11:50 and didn't come back untill like 5. >.< Bus ride is quite long though, like 40 min each way. Well, pretty much they had me meet the coordinator, then the principle, and then the teacher i'd be working with. Then pretty much they had me sit in this little room and had about 4 students come in 1 at a time, mainly with a english homework. By the time I got home, was pretty exhausted ~.~ But was interesting.

Hm, today is kind of boring. Though, on the way back to the dorm, we picked up all of my nieces and nephews (3) to take along. I hadn't seen little David and Anastasia for years, so it was kind of weird seeing them so grown up =x. Ana was more or less quite the way, responding when my mom talked to her, while little David and Athena were quite rowdy in the back seat alot of the way, especially once we got into Seattle.
But now it's pretty boring @_@

Went home for the weekend, it's nice to be able to every other weekend, even though sometimes can end up being busy with stuff, or bored (heh 2 opposite extremes =P). But not much news for today, just went to class, came back and then took the bus home, then was doing some things.
Didn't get any msges from anybody so things must have went well.
Other then that, on Tuesday I go to the prep academy and meet with the site coordinator and set up the tutoring at that school. Supposed to work Tu + Thu 1-5, which isn't too bad, also considering it's like 10$ an hour.
Well, best of luck to everyone ^_^ with tests that are comming up, things in life, hard situations, and everything else. Let's all have courage to face what comes to us each day =)

Okay, so I got the job for the paying mentor job, which was cool. Tomorrow I need to make some copies and run it to the office place to finish up stuff. Seems like I will be working at a middle school not to far from the university (which is nice) and that it would be on Tue and Thur (which is even better)
so just waiting for some contact from the mediator at the specific school.

Well, just a normal day, so was fine, was busy earlier, since I was at home, but now back at the dorm. ^_^ My dog looks so cute now. When I got home, saw she got hair cut, to very short, almost looks like a new dog.
My mom wanted me to go to an Oktoberfest going on at the fair grounds, but decided not to go. Heh, besides, I'm going to get the real thing in spring when I go to Germany for spring break. (really looking foreward to that. ^^; got any souvenir requests? :P let me know, can get some nice stuff there)

Well, had to go to the health clinic today. We have to have a TB test done for the tutoring program I signed up for. >_.< hate them T_T hurt.
And the tutoring thing is, well I had first signed up for it because it said it was a paying tutoring job (which i need a job) and 2ndly because I need teaching experience for the JET program (and also because it can go on as a job record)
So, what it is, is, basically you would go out to a local school and you would be paired up with a 5 year old in a classroom. You would encourage them, and help them out in their classwork and what not. There are also meeting with your fellow tutor group members and talks with their parents. It will be alot of work.
Cool thing is that the lady said she would try to put me in a school in the international district and pair me up with a Japanese child, since I have language background in that, and that would be useful (and they like to pair people up with similar language). So that would be cool, I can help the child as well as work on my language skill.
V_V the crappy part is..since i'm not elegible for financial aid.. i won't get paid for it -_-. Big bummer..but I have no choice because I want teaching experience, and I know that's important, so...would have to be a volunteer job.
